All returns require a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
All returned items must be received by Dane-Elec within 30 days of the approved RMA date.
Dane-Elec will review your request for authorization and issue an RMA number upon approval. Please note that your request will be subject to approval based on the following guidelines.

Warranty Items
All items returned under warranty will be processed per the manufacturer’s return policy. Items accepted for warranty replacement will be shipped back to the customer via ground service at Dane-Elec’s expense. Any upgrade in shipping will be at the customer’s expense.
Defective Items
All defective items will be repaired, replaced or credited per the manufacturer’s warranty policy.
Non-defective Items
All non-defective items are accepted at Dane-Elec’s discretion and must be in original, unopened packaging.
Customer-induced Damage
All items with customer-induced damage are not returnable.
Returns Requirements
All returned items must include all of the original packaging material, including any electrostatic discharge packaging. If the original packaging materials are not available, the customer must provide appropriate packaging to eliminate any damage during shipping.
All items must include all accessories unless prior approval from Dane-Elec has been given. All items authorized for return must be shipped to Dane-Elec at the customer’s expense via traceable and insured methods. All items returned must include the RMA number clearly marked on the shipping label.
Shipping Damage
If a product arrives with visible damage to the packaging, Dane-Elec recommends that the customer refuse delivery. The carrier will then be responsible for returning the package to the shipper. If the customer accepts delivery of damaged packages or discovers internal damage upon opening the package, the customer must contact the carrier and Dane-Elec Technical Support at my-dittosupport@dane-memory.com or call (877) 428 2363 (from inside the US) or +1 949-450-2998 for all returns.
Refund & Replacement Information
Upon arrival at the Dane-Elec warehouse all returned items are inspected. Your refund or replacement will be processed after we receive, inspect, and verify your return.
We will process your refund or replacement within 7-10 business days (not including Saturday, Sunday, or holidays) of delivery to our return center. Please check return tracking to know the date we received your item. Your refund may take one to two additional days to post to your original method of payment.
We will notify you via email with the details of your refund or replacement order as soon as it has been fully processed.
The risk of loss for the product being returned shall be with you at all times during the shipment of such product to the returns center and with respect to any shipments from the returns center back to you, the original distributor or manufacturer, or any buyer through the liquidation process. Title to the product being returned will remain with you at all times and transfer from you to the original distributor, or a third party in the case of a liquidation of the return, only upon receipt of the products by such distributors or buyers.
Additional Information
If items need to be returned due to an error on Dane-Elec’s part, Dane-Elec will pay one-way shipping charges for the specified items.
Please note that certain items (e.g., software) are not returnable per manufacturers’ policies. Other terms and conditions may apply.
Dane-Elec may refund, repair or replace an item out of good faith.
